We take exceptional care of all our guests on a Papa Turtle Tour. For non swimmers, children or senior citizens we provide a personal guard so they can relax and enjoy the tour.

We are located on the Main Road Bus Route.

Take the anti-clockwise bus from Arorangi (20 mins, $5)

Take the clockwise bus from Muri (15 mins, $5)

Off road Parking is available across the road for those driving.

We’re located in Vaimaanga Village on the south side of Rarotonga. If you’re familiar with the well-known supermarket, Wigmores, our site is just 1km anti-clockwise from there, on the beachside of the main road. You can easily find us on Google Maps under “PAPA TURTLE.”

Papa Turtle, the man who started it all, is well-known on Rarotonga for being the first person to offer turtle tours on the island along with his daughter World Renown Underwater Photographer Charlotte Piho.

Pop into the Gallery in Muri opposite Pacific Resort or see Papa Tuhe at the Muri Night Market Tues, Wed, Thurs + Sun and the Punanga Nui Market every Sat if you would like further information.

Wear what ever you’re comfortable swimming in and bring a towel and water bottle for afterwards. We provide all the gear!

For a Papa Turtle Tour, feel free to bring your own underwater camera. If you would like to upgrade to a tour that includes Photography, please get in touch as this is an additional cost.

Cancellation within 72 hours or no-show: Full charge applies.

Cancellation by Papaturtle: We will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund if the activity is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., bad weather). Refunds take 3-5 business days.
