Had an amazing tour with papa turtle. We were in a small group of 7 people with mixed ability. We felt well looked after and had an amazing swim with the beautiful turtles in their natural habitat. We saw at least 7 turtles that day and other wonderful marine life. Papa turtle is very respectful of the marine life. A truly magical experience.

Papa Turtle was a lot of fun. He got everyone involved and connecting together. He helped me a lot, staying with me the whole time as my diving buddy. We saw lots of turtles. It was very reasonably priced.

We searched the island for a turtle tour that would accommodate our young families and Papa Turtle was the only one who was game. We felt safe looked after the whole time. Our tour was tailored to our pace and we had an amazing time out on the water seeing the wonderful turtles in their own environment.

We had an incredible experience with Papa Turtle full of wonderful turtle interactions, 89 fantastic pics to show off to all our friends and family, engaging and witty story telling, and beautiful views of one of Rarotonga’s underwater channels. At every step of the way, Papa Turtle made my family and I (who are of varying swimming competencies) feel safe swimming in the channel through his thorough safety debrief prior to the tour, close attention to our movements and consistently checking up on us individually. Given his extremely reasonable prices, uplifting attitude and delivery of an experience that is the highlight of our trip, snorkelling with Papa Turtle is a must-do on your Cook Island holiday. Highly recommend this amazing experience. Papa Turtle guided everyone in the group with knowledgeable, entertaining stories and ensured everyone was safe and so respectful of the environment. The experience was one of our families highlights of the holiday.

This was a fantastic tour. Snorkels, rashies and wetsuits are provided if you need them. Papa Turtle was extremely knowledgeable and a great guide. The water is quite shallow in most places, with Papa Turtle towing guests across the rocky section on paddleboards to the deeper section where you can swim easily. We saw at least a dozen turtles, beautiful fish, coral etc. Highly recommended

Swimming with Papa Turtle in Rarotonga was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Seeing turtles for the first time in their natural environment was absolutely magical, and something I will never forget.

Papa Turtle was so lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about the turtles and the ocean. You can really feel how much he cares about what he does and about protecting these beautiful animals. He made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we all had an unforgettable experience in the water.

Our second time seeing the turtles with Papa Turtle, and yet another incredible experience! Can highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rarotonga, of any swimming ability. Papa is a real custodian of the turtles and their home, what a privilege it is to learn about and experience them with him.

My wife and I had a wonderful snorkeling experience with Papa Turtle in Avaavaroa Passage. He was attentive and safety conscious while we were in the water and was able to lead us to the turtles and other marine wildlife. I liked the fact that no motors were used in this delicate mariner environment. As a bonus, he also took digital photos of us that he emailed to us within hours after the trip. Looking forward to our next swim with Papa Turtle!
